This is the first stable release of version 5.1 of IRC Services. See the
What's New file for details on
the numerous improvements and changes that have been made since version
5.0.
For those who have used beta releases of Services 5.1, a few changes have
been made since the last prerelease version, 5.1pre9. Most notably, a
workaround has been added for a rare issue in certain versions of the
InspIRCd server that could cause Services to be disconnected from the
network.
As announced
on the mailing list (see also the 5.1pre0 announcement),
Services development has now completed. Maintenance and support for
Services will continue until the following dates:
